![]() ![]() I gave it a score of 9 out of 10, while my wife said the restaurant’s home made sausage was 6.5 out of 10. The roasted chicken was tender and moist. I must say that the chicken dish was very flavorful. I chose the roasted chicken with sweet corn while my wife ordered the white sausage with potato puree. On the positive note, we also ordered 2 dishes to take home. My wife’s medium rare steak was “o.k.” according to her. The presentation was lacking (see attached photo) and the taste was quite bland. When our meals were brought to our table, I looked at the leg of lamb that I ordered and I thought that that was not I was expecting from a famous Napa Valley restaurant. I ordered the Leg of Lamb while my wife ordered the Flatiron Steak with French Fries. And they have just re-opened again “3 months ago.” I noticed that all of the restaurant’s staff members wore face masks at all times. She informed us that Bouchon was closed and re-opened last year due to the effects of the pandemic in the restaurant business as a whole. We chose to eat al fresco for our safety and we were served by Ashly, who provided us with attentive but not intrusive service. The hanger steak and huge volume of french fries, thank you was just right. The lamb and its accompanying side of mashed potato was lukewarm. Then came the long wait for the main courses. It was excellent perfectly dressed very fresh and all you can ask for. The salad was very slow in coming, 37 minutes to be precise. We shared a warm goat cheese salad, hanger steak, roast lamb. Up front service was very good, as we were given water, bread, pistachio nuts and two glasses of Albrecht to start the evening. We were able to score a to top just by the entrance in the front corner of the restaurant and it proved to be one of the nicest tables in its own little secluded corner. Everyone was talking in highly raised voices to be heard over the thumping soundtrack and. for our reservation we found the place 95% packed, bustling, loud.
